Student Achievement

Every student deserves a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, career, and life. As County Superintendent, I will ensure equitable access to rigorous academic programs and diverse learning opportunities for all students.

I will focus on implementing innovative educational programs, such as career and technical education, to meet the diverse aspirations and future goals of our students.
I am committed to using evidence-based instructional practices, investing in ongoing professional development for educators to strengthen teaching and learning
I will support school-based mental health services and prioritize social-emotional and behavioral growth alongside academic achievement.
Student achievement encompasses not only academic success but also social-emotional and behavioral growth. I will champion data-informed strategies to improve outcomes across all these areas.

School Safety & Positive School Climate

As our nation faces a growing youth mental health crisis, schools must serve as safe, supportive environments for both learning and healing. Every student deserves to feel secure, respected, and valued in their educational journey.

I will prioritize integrating comprehensive mental health and wellness programs into our school systems, ensuring students have access to counseling, resources, and interventions that promote well-being.
I recognize the challenges our dedicated educators face and will advocate for initiatives that reduce job-related stress and provide resources to retain high-quality, fully credentialed teachers. Healthy, supported educators create stronger learning environments.
I fully support the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) as a proactive approach to fostering respectful, inclusive, and resilient school communities.

Parent & Community Engagement

Strong schools are built on strong partnerships. I am dedicated to building strong, collaborative relationships among schools, families, and the wider community. Creating a positive school climate is essential for academic success and emotional growth. Together, we can build schools where every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.
